The Dunedin waterfront at dusk, looking out over the Gulf Saltwater Web Co.
Dunedin, Florida

Your customers are looking. Make sure they find you.

We build websites for small businesses across Pinellas County — live in days, not months, and looked after for a flat monthly fee.

Most local businesses lose customers before anyone walks in the door.

Someone searches for what you do, finds a site that won't load on a phone, and calls the next place on the list. It happens quietly, and it happens every day.

Saltwater Web Co. is a one-person shop in Dunedin. I build the site, put it online, and keep it running — so you can get back to the part of the business you actually like. No account managers, no ticket queue. You call me, I answer.

Every site is built to load fast on a phone, show up in local search, and turn a visitor into a phone call.

What it costs

No quotes to chase, no discovery phase. Here are the numbers.

Single page
One location, a handful of services
$750
then $75/month
  • One long scrolling page
  • Contact form and click-to-call
  • Google Maps and hours
  • Live in about 3 days
Multi-location
Two or more shops, or online sales
$2,500+
then $149/month
  • A page per location
  • Online payments or store
  • Custom forms and integrations
  • Timeline depends on scope

The monthly fee covers hosting, your security certificate, domain management, backups, and any small text or photo changes you need. Cancel any time — the site is yours and I'll hand over the files.

How it works

Three steps. Most businesses are online inside of a week.

We talk for fifteen minutes

Over the phone or a video call. I ask what you do, who you want calling, and what the current site gets wrong.

You see it in 48 hours

I send you a working link to a real site — not a mockup. Tell me what to change and I'll change it while we're on the call.

It goes live

I connect your domain, submit it to Google, and it's online. Half up front, half at launch. Monthly starts the day it's live.

Kevin Wood, owner of Saltwater Web Co.

Who you'll be working with

I'm Kevin Wood. I've spent my career building and running systems for businesses — databases, reporting, the software that keeps operations moving. Saltwater Web Co. is the part of that I enjoy most: taking something a business already does well and making it easier for people to find.

I live in Dunedin. If you're in Pinellas and you'd rather meet in person than trade emails, that's usually doable — I'm probably a fifteen-minute drive away.

You'll deal with me directly, start to finish. When you call, I'm the one who picks up.

Questions people ask

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain is registered in your name and the site is yours. If you ever want to leave, I'll hand over all the files and help you move — no charge, no hard feelings.

Do I need to buy a domain first?

No. If you already have one, I'll use it. If you don't, I'll help you register one — they run about $12 a year and it stays in your name.

What if I already have a website?

Then we start with what's broken. Sometimes it's a fix, not a rebuild. I'll tell you honestly which one you need, even when the answer is that you don't need me.

What's the monthly fee actually for?

Hosting, your security certificate, domain management, monthly backups, and unlimited small changes — new hours, a price update, swapping a photo. Send me a text and it's usually done that day.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Monthly hosting is month to month. If you'd rather pay less up front, I'll cut the build fee in half in exchange for a twelve-month hosting commitment.

Do you work outside Pinellas?

Yes — Hillsborough, Pasco, and beyond. Everything can be done over a video call. But if you're close by, I'd rather buy you a coffee.

The fastest way to get an answer is to call. I'll tell you within a few minutes whether I can help and roughly what it would cost.
